referendum to determine whether the Bradwell Neighbourhood Plan
should be adopted by Peak Park Planning Authority took place on
22nd October, 2015.
The turnout was 26.8%, which the authorities say is
above average for this type of election and the result was 260
“YES” and 46 “NO”.
this means is that Peak District National Park Authority have adopted the plan
and future planning in the village must now adhere to the
guidelines set out in the plan.
This is a pivotal moment for Bradwell and the future looks
development and approval of the plan a number of other areas were
identified for improving and developing the village, but as they
were not directly planning related matters they were not allowed
to be part of the plan itself. We have captured these areas
