THE
PUB
|
| The
Bowling Green
dates back to the 16th Century with oak beams and a
warm, cosy atmosphere. The
main bar area is a comfortable room where guests can relax with
a drink and chat with the friendly locals. The walls all have
photographs of the village
of
Bradwell
dating back to the beginning of the last century. The Tap room
also has the original wooden beams as does the snug which houses
the Pool Table.

ACCOMMODATION
|
| We
have six letting rooms in the converted barn attached to the
pub. There is one twin and five double all with en suite
showers. Ground floor rooms all have double doors leading to
small patios with chairs for guests who may like to sit quietly
and admire the views.
Rooms
start at £65 per room per night (and from £75 May to October)
including a full English breakfast (minimum 2 nights stay on
Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights). Special early week rates
(3 nights for 2) are available at certain times of the year. |

THE
RESTAURANT
|
|
There
are two dining rooms, one within the original building and a
further Garden Room extension with stunning views across the
valley. From the Garden Room there is a substantial external
patio area again with stunning views.
Our
menu is uncomplicated with the emphasis on traditional English
Pub Fayre with home made casseroles, soups and pies as well as
traditional favourites such as fish and chips and steak. Food is
served Monday to Saturday from 12.00 to 2.30pm and 6.30 to
9.00pm. On Sundays there is a carvery with two to three roasts
served from 12.30 until 4.00pm.
